Report an Incident

Everyone can make a difference by acting as the eyes and ears of the reef!

Report any unusual sightings, including marine debris; vessel groundings and anchor damage; invasive species; harmful algal blooms; fish disease and fish kills; discolored water; and coral disease and bleaching.

There is no special training needed and no further participation is required; just report what, when and where the incident was observed.

Join the Bleachwatch Dive Team

The SEAFAN Bleachwatch Observer Network serves as an early warning network for coral bleaching and disease.

To become a BleachWatch Observer, attend a free two-hour training class that teaches you how to identify coral bleaching and disease and how to submit reports online.
